On March, 17h, 2018, I have been proudly awarded by UEB, the Brazilian Scout Organization of the WOSM, with the Gilwell Woggle for completing the Wood Badge Training, part II, including the supervised after-course assignements.
The Gilwell Woggle is a two-strand version of a Turk’s head knot, which has no beginning and no end, and symbolizes the commitment of an awarded member to Scouting.
Being a member of Ilha de Vitória Sea Scout Group enables me to learn new skills and build lifelong friendships while having fun. Besides that, I have the chance to work with youth to build a better future for everyone and make a difference to the lives of others.
My current mandate as the president of the Scout Group and leader of the Scout Group Board of Directors gives me a great way to get management experience outside work, meet new people, help others less fortunate or without a voice and gain valuable leadership expertise.
